Maroš Hečko (1967), graduated from Bratislava Academy-VŠMU, he promotes his studies in a PhD. course at the VŠMU Department of Dramaturgy and Scriptwriting. His screenplay debut in 1994 (with Štefan Semjan full-length film Na krásnom modrom Dunaji (On the Beautiful Blue Danube) was a success, he is the author of various shorts themes. Together with Daniel Rihák have created a documentary on a couple of musicians Andrej Šeban and Anton Kubasák Natočme ten západ slnka (Let's Shoot the Sunset), which was premiered in IFF Bratislava in 2006. Their creative tandem continued and brought the fruit in a 40 minutes' feature film SMOG, on a day with a musician who encounters his birthday day in a non-traditional way, with popular Slovak actor - Robert Roth in the main role.
Besides his scriptwriting, he has recorded and collaborated as an author on more than 10 music albums of Free Faces, Home Made Mutant a Bezmocnou hŕstkou (Nemoguchaya gutchka).
