Pavel Choma, akad. mal. (1950), born in Žilina. In his creative work he gets involved in almost all of the graphic design and exhibition art. His ideas are also expressed in free art and some works are connected with architecture - Museum of coins a medals in Kremnica, J. Koniarek Gallery - Trnava, SNM Bratislava - Bio-diversity, Prague Quadrennial 2007, exhibitions in SNM Martin - Tastes and Smells of Slovakia, The right cup o coffee, international touring exhibitions for the SNM Bratislava: Slovakia in 16th - 19th st., Magic Eight in the history of Slovakia...). He studied at the Academy of Fine Art and Design in Bratislava at the Dptmnt of Graphic Design with Prof. Jozef Chovan. He has been teaching for a long time himself. In 2003 he became a Prof. Assistant and nowadays he is the head of the Art Studio as well as the Dptmnt of Visual Communication at the Academy of Fine Art and Design in Bratislava. He lives in Žilina, having his own graphic design studio there since1992. He has had various individual and collective exhibitions at home as well as abroad,several times he has been awarded for his works (M. Benka Award, Master's Eye Awards, C.E.S.A.R...). His works may be found in private collections and in galleries.
